ルドゥーテの展覧会、かわいかった・・・
Bunkamuraの展覧会は好きなものが多いけど、この展覧会も随所にオトメ心をくすぐる演出があって。植物の細密画自体はさほど興味のある分野ではないけれど、色使いのあまりのオトメっぷりにはまった。（ルドゥーテは男性。）特に好きだったのがベラムという水牛の革に描いたもの。透明の膜がはってあるようで、ちょっと浮き出して見えるような不思議さがあって素敵だった。本や写真ではわかりにくいはず。。。。

I wasn't interested in Botanical Arts before till now, but I changed my mind.
I've thought Botanical Arts are not more than substitutes for photographs and products stand on concentration and patience, or maybe torture to eyes and hands.
But, they're not. He has his original taste or taste of his age, fancy Rococo style with a hard-boiled bite.
The most impressive work for me was the one drawn on Beram( Skin of buffalo).
It looked flowers floating on thin transparent film. It was visionary.
